Dear Santa,
How you going mate? Its been a while since Ive said hi.
The last time that I wrote to you, you failed to reply.
I think thats why I lost my faith, the faith I held on to,
As my childhood began to fade, I guess, so did you.
I asked for the coolest things, like a robot and a bike,
Of course I didnt ask for a doll, thats the thing that girly girls like.
Im a teenager now Santa. Im all grown, did you know?
It took me a little while, my growing went real slow.
Im a little smarter now, smarter than I was back then.
I dont want some fancy robot, I wont ask for a bike again.
Ive been looking round the world Santa, watching for what we need.
All I see is pain and war. All I see is greed.
Do you think that you could fix that? Maybe clean it up a bit?
I hope you havent left us, I hope you havent quit.
There are children all alone, people dying in a war,
This wish is much less selfish, then the ones Ive made before.
All Im asking for is a little peace; would you give us all a break?
If you opened up peoples eyes, they would see their big mistake.
This is my wish this year, and Santa I truly do believe
If theres any thing that you could do, this you could achieve.
Sincerely yours,
Millie
